About the role

Position Summary
The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between ReWorld facilities and client sites. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds, while ensuring compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.



Key Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated locations while adhering to scheduled appointments.

Ensure proper placarding of vehicles per DOT requirements.

Complete and maintain all required paperwork, including manifests, inspection reports, job sheets, expense reports, and timesheets.

Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment (tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc.).

Secure cargo prior to and during transit.

Operate specialized equipment, including PTO-driven systems.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Must be at least 21 years old (federal requirement for interstate travel).

Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.

CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.

Ability to obtain HazMat endorsement within 60 days of hire.

Clean driving record.

Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs.

Knowledge and adherence to DOT regulations.

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)
