Salary – Starting from £26,790.40 per annum Full time equivalent (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Milton, Abingdon OX14 4RY

Hours - Part time (20-32 hours per week), Monday to Friday

We’re looking for an Early Years Housekeeper to join our Milton Park Day N ursery on a full time, permanent basis. Our Bright Horizons Milton Park Day Nursery and Preschool is Ofsted rated 'Good' , has good transport links, and onsite parking.



The nursery has 148 places and is purpose built, so boasts spacious rooms and has a large garden area with climbing equipment, cycling space, sensory stations and a dedicated baby garden which the children use is all weathers!

The Role

As an Early Years Housekeeper, you will keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, colleagues, and families. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day, carry out daily laundry as required, and be prepared to help with additional nursery tasks where required, such as supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment.



What we’re looking for



Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property



Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post



Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements



Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents
