Schedule Details/Additional Information:
M-F 8:00-4:30 and
2nd Saturday of each month 8:00-12:00 (off 2nd Friday of each month).
Pay Range
$21.45 - $32.20
Major Responsibilities:
Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel. May coordinate related administrative aspects such as agendas, site selection, food/beverage selections, audio-visual arrangements, and document preparation.
Answers and screens telephone calls, resolves routine problems, and greets visitors appropriately.
Performs routine word processing of correspondence, memos, and minutes and formatting simple documents.
Creates basic reports, generates existing reports, and distributes reports as needed.
Establishes and maintains filing systems for records, files, and documentation.
Opens, sorts, and distributes mail, and department documents efficiently.
Operates and maintains office equipment (fax, printer, photocopier) and may order office supplies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Ability to effectively route calls, greet visitors, and maintain a schedule of appointments/meetings.
Computer Skills: Must have basic skills in the use of the Microsoft Office (Excel, and Word) or similar products.
Demonstrated ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software, and create simple documents/reports.
Demonstrated ability to maintain, track and enter data in a database and/or spreadsheet software.
Ability to effectively communicate using the internet (i.e. Lotus Notes or a similar program).
Demonstrated ability to operate standard office equipment.
Demonstrates organizational ability, and attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to effectively communicate (written, and verbal), build rapport, and relate to all kinds of people.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must operate all equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job.
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time in order to complete required word processing, filing, photocopying, distribution of materials and other related functions. Exposed to a normal office environment.
Must be able to continuously use a keyboard.
Occasionally lifts items weighing up to 20 lbs.
Must have functional speech, vision, and hearing.
Must be able to concentrate on minute detail with frequent interruptions.
Must be capable of typing, writing, and data entry for prolonged periods of time.
