BAEC - Business Performance & Finance Analyst

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of BAEC - Business Performance & Finance Analyst located in Houston, Texas .

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:


Provide financial and business performance support for a Business Unit (BU) or Function.
Collect, analyze, and report business performance data.
Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to BU or Function leadership.
Support business decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.
Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes.
Participate in special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, business performance reporting, or related role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:


MBA or Master's degree in related field.
Experience in the oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
CPA or CFA certification.

Relocation Options:

Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
