Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Data Engineer located in Makati City, Philippines .

Responsibilities for this position may include:

Design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from a variety of sources into a data warehouse or data lake. Develop and maintain data models and schemas that support business requirements. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions. Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Optimize data pipelines and data models for performance and scalability. Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends. Document data pipelines, data models, and other data engineering processes. Participate in code reviews and other quality assurance activities. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in data engineering. Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts. Experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or Azure Data Factory. Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio. Experience with data quality tools such as Informatica Data Quality or Trillium. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Hive. Experience with machine learning. Experience with DevOps practices. Why join Chevron:
