This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months to replace an employee on maternity leave.

Team/Role Overview:



The Senior HR Partner is a senior level position responsible for leading the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Human Resources Partnership and Delivery teams. The overall objective of this role is to provide a broad range of HR services to client groups within Citi. 



What you'll do:

Utilize Citi’s case management system to manage workload in compliance with Citi’s Risk and Control procedures. 

Deliver HR services and build capabilities to drive organizational performance through individuals and managers as well as identify issues and recommend solutions. 

Responsible for HR delivery and implementation across the employee lifecycle. 

Responsible for providing coaching and guidance to managers on people related queries. 

Partner with key stakeholders to solve complex matters and escalated client issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken, risks are assessed, and employment policies and practices are interpreted consistently.  

Resolve moderately complex HR issues conferring with managers when necessary. 

Support sensitive conversations with senior management 

Support the review and execution of ad hoc reporting, regulatory reviews, or audits as needed. 

Partner with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and/or other key stakeholders regarding HR priorities to ensure delivery and implementation of HR solutions for assigned book of work.  

Identify issue trends and partner with management and respective teams to implement solutions.   

Execute the delivery of global priorities and employee life cycle processes as outlined by the business and in coordination with key stakeholders as applicable.  

Coordinate and consult with country HR partners to deliver country or cluster activities as applicable. 

Steer global initiatives in partnership with the operational model and global processes.    

Serve as a subject matter expert on relevant HR processes and a peer mentor to new hires; Backup / deputy for Workplace Support Leads, creating pipeline for senior roles/ Talent bench.  



What we'll need from you:

6-10 years of relevant experience 

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication 

Working knowledge of HR functions 

Working knowledge of applicable employment laws 

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Workday (or similar systems)

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
